Richard R. Roach, MD, has spent years canoeing the Boundary Waters and Quetico Provincial Park and studying First Nation culture. He has written a book on tropical medicine as well as articles on internal medicine. Currently professor of internal medicine at Western Michigan University, Dr. Roach and his wife reside in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
